The Huelgas Ensemble has been awarded with the ECHO DEUTSCHE SCHALPLATTENPREIS 2010 in the category vocal music of the 16th - 17th century.
The price is granted for the Cd LA POESIA CROMATICA - Michelangelo ROSSI.
Alongside earlier Diapason d'Or Awards, the Edison Award and various Cecilia Awards, this is one of many crownings in the records of the Huelgas Ensemble. |

In 2010, the Huelgas Ensemble has been recording 2 new Cd's for Sony Classical.
The first Cd is intitled "The Art of the Cigar" and will be officialy released on 13th of May 2011.

Jacob Clement, alias Clemens non Papa " Grant yvroigne et mal vivant" is the second Cd which has been recorded in 2010. The release will be in 2012.
The next recording for Sony Classical wil be in July 2011 - The Eton Choir Book.
